Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that President Zardari’s brother “Tappi” has nothing to with the administrative affairs in Sindh province.
Talking to media persons at the Kangri House after meeting with PML(Functional) Chief Pir Sabghatullah Shah Rashdi Pagara on Monday, the Chief Minister said that the issue of threatening letters received by PPP Ministers and Members is not as serious as it is being presented.
He said the government would continue its policy of reconciliation and take all the coalition parties along. He said the whole matter of threatening letter is being considered.
When asked about interference by President Zardari’s step brother Owais Muzaffar alias Tappi in the administrative affairs of Sindh, the Chief Minister said administrative matters are handled by the provincial cabinet.
Asked about Nabil Gabol’s statement expressing concern over Karachi situation, Qaim Ali Shah said the MNA is least aware of the situation because he does not live in the city and even addresses press conferences in Islamabad.—INP
